Sasha Sadowy,

Sasha Sadowy, who was born and raised in New York City, received her Bachelor’s degree in zoology and art history from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and her Master’s degree in biotechnology from Eastern Virginia Medical School. Throughout her career as a clinical embryologist, Sasha has been fortunate to have been trained and mentored by many of the key thought leaders, researchers, and embryologists in the field of reproductive medicine. Sasha’s passion for embryology is steadfast and she is proud to have helped spearhead Alpha by attending the very first conference in Sorrento, Italy.
Throughout her career, Sasha has put her skills and training to work as an embryologist, teacher, mentor, consultant, director, and researcher. Her curiosity has always been fueled by the synergy between clinical embryology and research, helping to shape her clinical lab practice today.
Since 2023, Sasha and her family have lived in Barcelona, Spain, and she is currently conducting research in the metabolism of mouse and human embryos at IBEC (Institute for Bioengineering of Catalunya) in their Bioengineering in Reproductive Health Laboratory. As an Alpha Ambassador, Sasha hopes to help cultivate the space by nurturing embryologists professionally and facilitating good science within the framework of Alpha and its mission.
