Hasan Burjaq

Mr. Hasan Burjaq is a distinguished embryologist with nearly three decades of expertise in Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART). He holds a Bachelor of General Studies in Biology and Chemistry, a Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology from Xavier University, USA, and a Master's in Health Studies: Leadership from Athabasca University, Canada. Trained at the Howard and Georgina Jones Institute for Reproductive Medicine in 1996, he has held prominent positions, including IVF Laboratory Manager at King Hussein Medical Centre in Jordan, Senior Embryologist at the Toronto Centre for Advanced Reproductive Technology in Canada, and IVF Lab Supervisor at Hamad Medical Corporation, Qatar.

Currently, Mr. Burjaq is the Assistant Executive Director of Clinical Services and Chief Embryologist at the Department of Reproductive Medicine, Women’s Wellness and Research Centre, Hamad Medical Corporation. He is a Certified Lead Auditor for ISO 9001:2015, a Certified Reproductive Embryologist by the American College of Embryology, and a Certified Peer Review Inspector by Qatar's Ministry of Public Health. Additionally, he is a member of the Middle East Fertility Society (MEFS) Embryology Specialty Interest Group and a More Joy National Ambassador for the International Federation of Fertility Societies.
