Dr. Eirini Bellou is a cell and reproductive biologist with expertise in mammalian oocyte biology. She currently works as a Senior Applications Scientist at U-Ploid Biotechnologies, a company dedicated to developing novel therapeutics aimed at improving oocyte quality in women of advanced reproductive age.

She received her scientific training at the European Molecular Biology Laboratory (EMBL) and the Max Planck Institute for Multidisciplinary Sciences, and completed her PhD at the University of Göttingen, where her research focused on chromosome-specific aneuploidy in mammalian oocytes.
